Frequently Asked Questions

How much money will my school receive for participating in this program?
This varies from school to school based on the number and type of cartridge donated. The average school, however, makes about $30-$80 per month.

What are my responsibilities?
We only expect you to do one thing: Collect cartridges. We'll take care of the sorting, the carrying, and the transporting. If there's anything else we can do to make the program easy and convenient for you, please let us know.

How often will you pick up the cartridges?
This is up to you. If you like, we will wait until you notify us that the cartridge bin is full. Or else, we can come every month or some other regular interval.

How much do you pay for the cartridges?
The prices fluctuate from time to time as technologies change and different recycled cartridges are in demand. Generally, the laser cartridges range from $0.25 to $12.00 and the inkjet cartridges (the little cartridges) range in value from $0.50 to $2.00

Do you accept used cell phones?
Yes, we do recycle used cell phones. Unfortunately, however, we aren't able to recycle any of the cell phone accessories.

What kind of cartridges do you recycle?
With a few exceptions, we are able to recycle any laser cartridge, or any inkjet cartridge with a metal print-head. This doesn't include ink ribbons or ink tanks or fusers.

We can recycle cartridges that have already been recycled.
